Bible Aids and Resources:
Big Picture of the Bible - Old Testament
The
first book of the Big Picture of the Bible Study Series is an
easy-to-read Bible aid and companion to the greatest book of all time,
the Bible! Big Picture of the Bible - Old Testament takes readers on a
journey through the Old Testament from Genesis to Malachi. Written in a
highly organized design format, this Bible study introduces readers to
Old Testament stories and events in a way that illuminates
understanding and insight into the Bible. Using Bible summaries,
prayers, full color illustrations, maps, charts, timelines, historical
notes, discussion questions, and a glossary of Bible terms, Ms. Nichols
helps readers see how the stories and people of the Old Testament are
related to the New Testament as well as to us today!
The
second book of the Big Picture of the Bible Study Series
takes readers on a journey through the New Testament from Matthew to
Revelation. Big Picture of the Bible-New Testament
helps readers see how God fulfilled the plan He laid out in the Old
Testament through the birth, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus
Christ. Using the same highly organized design methodology as her first
book, Ms. Nichols provides an easy-to-read all-in-one Bible aid that
guides readers through the story of Jesus' life on earth; and the
apostles' work in spreading the story of redemption and salvation made
possible through Jesus Christ.
As an
additional Big Picture of the Bible study tool, Ms.
Nichols has designed a Section Summary/Application Form to help readers
reinforce understanding and personal application of Scripture. After
reading each section of Big Picture of the Bible,
use the first side of the form to identify the context of Scripture by
answering the questions: Who, Where, When, What, Why, and How. Use the
second side to document lessons learned and personal application. Bible
study teachers and group leaders can then step through each section of
the form to facilitate group discussions.
Big
Picture of the Bible is a set of two highly organized Old and
New Testament Bible study aids, uniquely designed to provide better
